Inkopo is an established consultancy and service provider specialising in all types of new and small business development. Our clients are investors, entrepreneurs, enterprises and public bodies who are seeking to create and grow successful businesses.

We provide practical business advice and hands-on support, raise seed finance and manage projects.

Our specialisms include: business angel and seed-corn investment, early stage technology business development, social and community enterprise, property evaluation and premise management.

We are specialists in early-stage, technology-based, enterprise development. We run incubators (both our own and others), provide consultancy services, raise seed finance and build knowledge management solutions. Our eleven staff members already operate from three locations throughout Yorkshire – Wakefield, Sheffield and Harrogate.
For almost ten years, many of our team were known under the name of UniVentures International, the business development arm of Leeds Metropolitan University. In July 2002, Inkopo Limited began trading as a standalone company, both as a contractor to Leeds Met and as a technology business development firm.

So, Inkopo – what does it mean?

Inkopo as a brand is derived from Innovation, Knowledge and Opportunity.

If it sounds simple, it isn’t. But with our track record and a deep understanding of how to get a new, technology-based company up and running we think we have something special to offer.
