Setting up in business can be a lonely experience because there is often a new business language to learn, a new trading culture to understand and a new lifestyle to adopt. In recognition of this Inkopo offers a special service for entrepreneurs with new business ideas

Entrepreneurs may introduce their business ideas to Inkopo, in complete confidence, at any point in their development process and this is often up to a year before they begin trading.

During this conceptual stage Inkopo can help by exploring with the entrepreneur the options for founding and developing the business.

Initially this role may be likened to that of a friend, sounding board or business mentor, be entirely informal and can include help with:

  • Crystallising the concept and setting the vision
  • Understanding business jargon
  • Clarifying tasks and priorities
  • Defining key features of the business proposition
  • Developing the process for taking the business forward
  • Identifying appropriate business partners

As the new venture becomes more formalised our help and support can extend to:

  • Fund raising
  • Market research and marketing
  • Securing initial sales
  • Advice on safeguarding of any intellectual property
